How it plays out on a deal
Without routing, every question lands with one coordinator who forwards it by hand. With it, a tax question goes straight to the tax adviser and the coordinator only watches the overview. On a large sale this can remove days from the Q&A cycle.
Look for routing rules that follow folders or categories, the ability to reassign a question, and reminders for questions that sit unanswered. Experts should be able to draft answers without seeing other bidders' questions they do not need.
What to check in a review or demo
- 1Whether routing can be set by question category and by referenced folder.
- 2Whether experts see only the questions assigned to them.
- 3Whether overdue questions trigger reminders to the assigned person.

- Role-based access control (RBAC)An access model in which rights come from a user's role, such as administrator, contributor or viewer, rather than being granted to each person one by one.
