The short version
If you click certain links on Data Room Review and then sign up with that provider, we may receive a commission. The price you pay stays the same either way. Commissions never change a score, a ranking position, a verdict or the pros and cons we list.
Which links are affiliate links
Affiliate links are the “Visit” buttons for providers we have a partner arrangement with. They go through a redirect on our own domain (an address starting with /go/) before reaching the provider, and they carry the HTML attribute rel="sponsored nofollow", which tells search engines the link is commercial.
We currently have one partner programme, with Ellty. We do not hide which providers are partners: if a “Visit” button goes through a /go/ address, it is an affiliate link.
Links to other providers’ websites, such as the “Visit website” button on a non-partner review, are ordinary links. We add a tracking tag so providers can see the visit came from us, and mark them rel="nofollow", but we earn nothing from them.
Where affiliate links appear
Affiliate links appear on ranked lists, in review widgets and in quiz results. They do not appear inside the body of blog articles or guides; links there lead to other Data Room Review pages.
How this fits with our scores
Every provider is scored with the same six weighted criteria described on our review method page. A partner provider’s review lists its weaknesses as plainly as any other review. If a partner’s score fell below another provider’s, the ranking would change accordingly.
Prices
Prices on the site are shown in US dollars as published by each provider at our last check. They are indicative: plans, taxes, currency and promotions change. Check the live price on the vendor’s own site before buying.
