Independence
Editorial decisions on this site are made by the Data Room Review editorial team alone. Providers cannot pay for a review, a higher score, a better position in a ranking or the removal of criticism. A provider that is a commercial partner is reviewed against the same six criteria as every other provider, and its review lists its gaps as plainly as anyone else’s.
We do not show advertising that is styled to look like editorial content. Affiliate links are marked, and the arrangement is explained on our affiliate disclosure page.
Accuracy and sources
Factual statements about a provider (price, certifications, features, deployment, company history) are taken from the provider’s own documentation or confirmed with the provider, and are rechecked regularly. Where a statement relies on law, regulation or a technical standard, we link to the official source rather than a summary of it.
Prices are shown as published, in US dollars, and labelled indicative. We do not estimate a specific provider’s private pricing; where a provider quotes per project, we say so and, on the pricing guide, show market ranges clearly labelled as such.
How we use AI tools
We use AI writing tools to help draft and structure some content, such as first drafts of articles and summaries of documentation. Every page is reviewed, fact-checked and edited by the editorial team before it is published, and scores are never produced by an AI tool. The team is responsible for everything published under its name.
Updates
Reviews and rankings show the date they were last updated. We review every score monthly and update pages when facts change. Guides are revisited when the underlying law, standard or market practice changes. Minor edits (typos, formatting) do not change the date; factual changes do.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it. Significant corrections, such as a wrong price, certification or feature, are made as soon as they are verified, and the page’s updated date changes. If a correction changes a score, the new score replaces the old one everywhere it appears on the site.
Requests from vendors
Vendors can contact us through the contact page to report an outdated fact, share a new feature or ask us to recheck a score. Please include a link to public documentation or other evidence. We consider every request, but we decide what to publish and we do not share drafts of reviews with vendors before publication.
Reader feedback
Readers who spot an error, or who have used a platform in a live deal and see it differently, are welcome to write to us. Feedback does not change a score on its own, but it often tells us what to recheck.
